Where did NingXia Red come from?
NingXia Red came about on one of D. Gary Young's (founder and CEO of Young Living) trips to unlock the natural secrets of life, energy, and vitality. In 1993 D. Gary Young traveled to China. While in China, he was introduced to Dr. Chao. Dr. Chao told him of a berry, the wolfberry, that's been prized in China for thousands of years for its powerful health supporting benefits. A Chinese biochemist at the Ningxia Institute of Nutrition analyzed the wolfberry and found it to be one of the most nutrient-dense foods.
